Waldo MS will participate in this year’s annual National Walk, Bike, Roll to school event on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Walk to School Day events raise awareness of the need to create safer routes for walking and bicycling and emphasize the importance of issues such as increasing physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion and concern for the environment. Jumpstart

East Aurora’s Jumpstart program provides support and information to parents with children ages 0 to 3 as well as for families who are expecting a baby. Jumpstart is a Parents as Teachers (PAT) affiliate that focuses on strengthening parent-child interactions, development-centered parenting, family well-being, and promoting early literacy so that all our Baby Tomcats will grow, develop, and learn to reach their full potential!

REC Weekend Family Classes

East Aurora School District 131 invites local families to free weekend classes for Pre-K through fifth-grade students and parents. Hosted at the Resilience Education Center, sessions feature yoga, art, and cooking activities.
