Second Annual Zero Referrals, Pie In the Face RewardSegundo l Premio Anual de Tartazo en la Cara por Cero Reportes

Waldo staff celebrated all students with no referrals for December with the 2nd Annual Pie in the Face reward assembly on Wednesday, January 10, 2023. All Waldo students attended the event. The students with no referrals were able to vote for the teacher that would get “pied”. Then, at the assembly one student, chosen at random from these students, was able to throw a pie in the winning teacher’s face.

Period 1: Mr. Whyte and Mrs. Rios
Period 4: Mr. Aviles and Mrs. Rios
Period 5: Mr. Whyte, Mrs. Alarcon, Mr. McNeilly, and Mrs. DeBiase
Period 7: Mrs. Alarcon, Mr. Soto, Mrs. DeBiase, and Mr. Alonso
Period 8: Mr. Hall, Mr. Kopke, Mr. McNeilly, and Mr. Jones
Period 9: Mr. Whyte, Mr. Hall, Mr. Kopke, and Mr. Jones

Other activities all students participated in at the event included relay races where winning students received “Paws” to use at the MTSS School store. All students participated in a school-wide expectations contest using the application Booklet. The top three students at each grade level earned chips or candy.

El personal de Waldo festejó a todos los estudiantes que no tuvieron reportes en el mes de diciembre con el 2° Premio Anual de Tartazo en la Cara en una asamblea el miércoles, 10 de enero de2024.

Todos los estudiantes de Waldo asistieron al evento. Los estudiantes sin reportes tuvieron la oportunidad de votar por el maestro que recibiría “el tartazo”. Luego, en la asamblea, un estudiante sin reportes elegido al azar, tuvo la oportunidad de arrojar la tarta en la cara del maestro ganador.

Otras actividades en las que participaron todos los estudiantes en el evento incluyeron carreras de relevo en las que los estudiantes ganadores recibieron “Paws” para usarlas en la tienda escolar MTSS. Todos los estudiantes participaron en un concurso de expectativas para toda la escuela utilizando la aplicación Booklet. Los tres mejores estudiantes de cada grado obtuvieron papas fritas o dulces.
